Jayna Gross

Mrs. Jayna Gross is a distinguished and sought-after music educator, director, and vocal coach with over two decades of experience in music education.  A Cum Laude graduate from prestigious Berklee College of Music, Jayna holds dual degrees in Music Education and Music Production and Engineering and has extensive background in teaching choral, instrumental, and general music across all grade levels and sectors.

Jayna’s innovative teaching methods and ability to inspire students to reach their highest potential have made her a beacon of light and inspiration in and beyond the classroom. Her commitment to excellence is evident in Jayna’s successful track record of enhancing music programs and students' skills and abilities, as well as consistently uplifting and motivating her students. Jayna has traveled the world, sharing her gift of music and touching countless lives as a vocalist, vocal director, and vocal coach for gospel music recording artists. She has seamlessly blended her love for performance, ministry, and pedagogy to become a transformative, life-giving educator.

Jayna’s teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that music enriches the whole person—mind, body, and soul and her methodical approach and infectious enthusiasm make learning music an exhilarating, fun, and enjoyable experience. 

Jayna serves as the Director of Paideia at King's Academy Nashville, where she oversees, leads, and fosters a culture of excellence, joy, and creativity in a diverse department that includes Athletics, Art, Ballet, Gardening, Hip-Hop, Latin, Life Groups, Music, Library, Spanish, Scholé, Theatre Arts and more. Accomplished in her own right, she is most proud of her artist-educator-musician husband, Otto Gross, and their incredible music-loving children: Otto III, Nova, and Nora Gross.
