Personent hodie voces puerulae, laudantes iucunde qui nobis est natus, summo Deo datus, et de virgineo ventre procreatus. On this day lift your voice, join the angelic noise, sing of all heaven's joys, praise and adoration, joy and jubilation! Sing of love pouring out over every nation. Join the sound, let it ring, hallelujah we sing all the love we can bring, praise and adoration, joy and jubilation! Sing of love pouring out over every nation. —Latin text traditional (Piae Cantiones, 1582) —English text by Michael Navato
